As Commercialisation Lead and Project Director, I led the three-year journey from collaborative research program to market-ready product -- building the commercial strategy, structuring the multi-party IP arrangements, and developing the business case that underpinned a 70% acquisition of Value Australia by PEXA Group, an ASX-listed property technology company.
AI Geospatial Startup: MapAI
As inaugural CEO, I built MapAI from incorporation to a funded, operating business - raising $2.3M in combined pre-seed and seed funding, launching a natural language interface for spatial and mapping data, achieving Global Top 100 Geospatial Company recognition in 2025, and winning Technical Excellence and Innovation awards at the APSEA Awards.
National Industry Transformation: 2026 Agenda
On behalf of a coalition of government and industry bodies led by the Spatial Industry Business Association, I led the development of the 2026 Spatial Industry Transformation and Growth Agenda - a national strategy that received ministerial endorsement, moved into active implementation, and was recognised with the SIBA Chairman's Award.
Business Transformation: Outline Global
As CEO of Outline Global, I led a strategic transformation across brand, commercial strategy, sales, and product -- shifting the business from a project-led to a product-led model, doubling the sales pipeline, and integrating AI capability into the company's core offering.
Innovation Program Design: AGO Labs, Digital Earth Australia, and Africa Labs
I designed and established three federal government innovation programs connecting Australian private industry to government data and capability - including AGO Labs, Digital Earth Australia, and Afrida Labs - supporting approximately 15 companies and allocating $3-5M in funding across award-winning program designs.
